Sivi's Send-Off Livestream

So, this is my last LIVESTREAM for a while.  I'm hoping just a week or two, but things don't always go right in my world, so it is likely going to be 3 weeks.  This is what caused me to quit back during the holidays - having to go through so many applicants:

Too many people applied....  dozens of people.....
  • disqualified because they wanted too much money and were really snotty about it.
  • disqualified because they had no experience at all.
  • disqualified because they couldn't pass a background check.
  • no call-backs when trying to schedule an interview.
  • no-shows to interview.
  • didn't want to work with inmates, didn't know they were applying for a jail...
I hired someone and he lasted two days, called out for two days after that and then on day 3, he calls me at 5 in the morning and told me that he wouldn't be taking the job after all.  Out of desperation, I turned in my notice because 1 day off every 13 days, during the holidays was not going to work for me.  I realized that it wasn't going to work for me when I had to cook Thanksgiving dinner and then rush off to be with the family for a whopping 1 1/2 hours, and basically falling asleep at the dinner table.  Couldn't spend quality time with the family because it was hurry up and eat and leave because of work the next day, and the day after that and so forth.  The other part that pissed me off was trying to ask for help from my managers and being told, "welcome to the club".  I didn't consent to this club, revoke my membership, I'm outta here, 86 Chef Sivi, Bye Felicia.

There isn't a recipe for this livestream because it's the Mystery Wheel of Misfortune.  I hope that this isn't going to linger for too long, I hired a young lady that I think is going to be absolutely fantastic.  Sadly, my birthday weekend is screwed up.  I am a bit pissed off.  And what is equally annoying is I have a job offer elsewhere looming in the shadows.  Will I be leaving the jail again?  Who knows.

Thank you to everyone that joined my Send-Off livestream, your presence and support means so much to me.  Below are links to Jim Baldridge and Lucille's Barrel Aged Honey.

To answer the questions:
Can this be fermented?
Yes, this can be fermented.

Will I do a demonstration?
Not likely.  Mainly because I have no need for fermented honey right now, and I personally would not do that with a jar that costs this much.

What does it taste like?
It tastes like honey, with some caramel notes and I still can't figure out the finish.  I can tell you this much though, it's smooth, and has a very distinct and unique flavor.  You can taste the oak.

Where do I find this?
Link is below.

Do I have more plans for this?
Not at the moment, I'm just trying to survive work right now.  But some Hot Honey Glaze for some pork bites, or chicken wings sounds really good.

See you soon!
xoxo
Sivi
